About Tim Abeln
Hi and welcome to my gallery! My name is Tim and I am a self-taught photographer from Arnhem, the Netherlands. The enthousiasm for photography was inspired by my mother. With her camera (and a few tips from her photography friends) I just went out and started making photos. I watched tons of YouTube videos, read articles and book, talked to other photographers and that is what I continu doing, learning something new with every shot. Pretty soon I found that I started seeing the world in a different way, started noticing things I never noticed before. Lights, shadows, compositions, colors, animals in the forest, majestic landscapes and the tiniest detail in beautiful flowers. The love for photography is not in pressing a shutter...

Thank you Angeles! Yes, to be honest I wished this scene had unfolded earlier in the morning when the light was not so strong, but we do not get to pick these wonderful encounters unfortunately :)
