The Heliconius erato is called "The Small Postman" in England because of its colors black, red and yellow.
The Heliconius erato is often confused with his brother: the Heliconius melpomene. Both butterflies have the same colors, a similar wing pattern and even the butterflies look like each other! The butterflies doll explain which Heliconia species they are. The Heliconius Erato doll has two nasty protrusions, and the pop of the Heliconius melpomene does not have this.
Hi and welcome to my gallery! My name is Tim and I am a self-taught photographer from Arnhem, the Netherlands. The enthousiasm for photography was inspired by my mother. With her camera (and a few tips from her photography friends) I just went out and started making photos. I watched tons of YouTube videos, read articles and book, talked to other photographers and that is what I continu doing, learning something new with every shot. Pretty soon I found that I started seeing the world in a different way, started noticing things I never noticed before. Lights, shadows, compositions, colors, animals in the forest, majestic landscapes and the tiniest detail in beautiful flowers. The love for photography is not in pressing a shutter...
