In august the heathers fields are in bloom and the landscape turns purple. A beautiful sight especially with the contrasting green trees and bushes. This photograph was made on 'de Veluwe', an area between Arnhem, Apeldoorn and Ede which is mostly declared national park.
Hi and welcome to my gallery! My name is Tim and I am a self-taught photographer from Arnhem, the Netherlands. The enthousiasm for photography was inspired by my mother. With her camera (and a few tips from her photography friends) I just went out and started making photos. I watched tons of YouTube videos, read articles and book, talked to other photographers and that is what I continu doing, learning something new with every shot. Pretty soon I found that I started seeing the world in a different way, started noticing things I never noticed before. Lights, shadows, compositions, colors, animals in the forest, majestic landscapes and the tiniest detail in beautiful flowers. The love for photography is not in pressing a shutter...
